The 2.7k Video Camera's sound isn't bad, but the 4k Camcorder has bad sound, the camera may be to blame, but the mic is the best chance to find a solution to fix it.
I wanted to address some of the sound concerns about the 4k vs 2.7k video cameras from Amazon that I reviewed earlier on the channel. Each camera was aimed at a specific purpose, such as vlogging, on the go etc..These budget Amazon camcorders generally have low quality sound processors and are not normally used stock Does this mic or that one sound better? Which mic for what purpose? I will answer some of these quesions. Some mics that I had mentioned previously were meant toward a specific use. If I mentioned a USB PC mic (Snowball/Yetti), that was intended for vlogging and the on camera mics like a Rode Video Go (camera mounted shotgun), was meant for in camera, on the SD card recording.
These are a great choice for a cheap camcorder for a youtube video creater or vlogger, unfortunately the 4k camera had subpar sound (2.7k was decent). A usb mic might give you a solution to a vlog situation, but would not fix the on camera mic.
