"Apache" is a song composed by Jerry Lordan and first recorded by Bert Weedon. Lordan played the song on the ukulele to the Shadows whilst they were on tour; upon liking the song, the group recorded and released their own version. Apache by The Shadows topped the UK Singles Chart for five weeks in mid-1960.
