Study 1 by Leo Brouwer otherwise known as Etude 1 - Estudios Sencillos or Etudes Simples. Publisher: Max Eshig, Paris (1972). Guitarist-Performer: Dale Harris. Leo Brouwer, who hails from Cuba, is a prolific guitarist-composer. Study No.1 is a technical study of rhythm, dynamics and accents. The rhythm has a distinctive South American feel to it and should be observed within the accents and general flow of the study by the performer.
