How to Add 3rd Party Packages to Your Synology Nas
Tutorial on how to add 3rd party packages to your Synology Nas. Will allow you to run popular software without having to compile or create your own package.
I recommend that you uninstall Synology's Python package before installing SynoCommunity's more up to date package.
*Update*
In DSM 5.0 you now have to open package center. Then click on Settings a new window will pop up. Click on Package Sources then select Add. Here you will be able to add http://www.synocommunity.com/
