Today there will be no usual lesson on how to make a product, a long text and a long video. My husband will make my favorite apricot pie, and I will shoot a video on a simple phone as part of my training at the photo and video school "Fragments of Life". I did not plan to post the video, since I was shooting for myself, but many children asked me to talk about the dishes and pastries that we cook in Turkey at home, so I decided to add a new playlist. A small piece of life, a small fragment, but it gives such bright memories and warm moments ...

Ingredients:
Butter - 230 gr.
Sugar - 260 gr.
Vanilla sugar - 10 gr.
Salt - 5 gr.
Baking powder - 7 gr.
Eggs - 245 gr.
Flour - 240 gr.

Filling:
Apricots or plums
Brown sugar, cinnamon (to taste)

The size of our baking dish is 24x32 cm.

Preparation 0:20.
Whip the softened butter for 5-7 minutes, add sugar mixed with vanilla sugar in parts. Beat the mass for another three minutes until creamy. Add salt and beat a little more. Pour in the eggs in parts, beat until smooth. The liquid phase is ready. Add baking powder, beat and pour in flour in parts. Mix with a spatula, the method of "rubbing" the flour into the dough. You can use a mixer, the mixer speed will be the lowest. Evenly distribute the finished dough in the mold, randomly arrange the apricots cut side down so that the dough does not lose moisture and taste. The surface of the product can be sprinkled with a little brown sugar, you can mix it with cinnamon. We used plain white sugar without cinnamon, as we couldn't find real cinnamon. Bake for 40 minutes, depending on your oven, at t°- 180-190 degrees. Cool the pie and put it in the refrigerator, covering it with film in contact. It is best to serve it after 8-12 hours, so that the pie ripens and becomes much tastier and more aromatic. The structure will be dense, and the taste will be rich.

And now questions for our graduates - what kind of dough do you think the base of this pie is? Just think very carefully. And why do we sometimes add baking powder to the liquid phase, and not mix it with flour right away?

All you need now is...
