Phillip Sear plays the second piece from the 1919 ballet suite 'Fireflies' by the British composer Montague Ewing ((1890-1957).

Montague Ewing (1890-1957) - sometimes also known as Sherman Myers - was a British composer of light music, particularly famous for his 1911 one-step 'The Policeman's Holiday'. He wrote many pieces with descriptive titles. I believe that 'Fireflies' was originally written for orchestra, and was certainly recorded as such in the 1920s by Debroy Somers. The strange grammar of the title is as it appears in print.
