Summer Academy at The University of Vermont is an immersive, academically challenging 4-week program designed for high school students who have completed 10th, 11th, or 12th grade and are interested in earning college credits while exploring a relevant academic interest. Summer Academy courses are designed specifically for and enroll only pre-college students.
UVM's Summer Academy offers high school students the incredible opportunity to learn from renowned professors and experience an intensive academic environment. Students study alongside like-minded students, showcase their potential to college admissions officers, and even earn three transferable college credits.
Students who participate in Summer Academy:
Stay intellectually engaged over the summer and avoid boredom
Are exposed to new ideas and perspectives
Explore topical content areas
Make new friends from around the country
Pay high school reduced tuition rates or utilize Vermont dual enrollment vouchers which cover the cost of tuition
