Growing up : Coping up with the Changes and Challenges - Workshop for girls (VI and VII)
DAV Centenary Public School Paschim Enclave organized a workshop on “Growing up- coping up with the changes and challenges” for girls of class VI-VII. Children were explained in depth about physical, emotional, and social changes experienced by girls during puberty stressing specifically on menstruation. The girls were educated about the importance of menstrual hygiene and safe menstrual practices so as to enable them to lead a healthy reproductive life in future. The participants openly shared their experiences in dealing with reproductive issues and were happy that such an exceptional training was initiated by the school.
