🔙 In 1996, Argentina approved the planting of genetically modified soybeans using glyphosate. It was the first country in South America to authorize the use of GMOs. At that time, there was no public or independent research warning about the risks of using herbicides. Studies that declared these agrochemicals harmless to the environment were funded by the companies themselves.

😔 However, this new productive path, which promised to end world hunger, began to show its dark side…

📌 Greenpeace traced the pollution trail left by the multinational Albaugh, a shareholder of Atanor. Places like Lavallol, Baradero, and Munro demonstrate the environmental damage left in its wake by this toxic neighbor.
