Back in the 1980s, Santa Cruz was one of the first companies to reintroduce the versatile, classic Orchestra Model, taking elements of the old pre-war Martin OMs and refining them into something all their own. This OM is SCGC craftsmanship and tone at its finest. Its back and sides are from the fabled "Tree", the special mahogany tree cut down in Belize in the 1960s that's been well-loved by luthiers for its blend of mahogany and rosewood-like tonal characteristics. Topping it off is Adirondack spruce, with scalloped Adirondack bracing and hot hide glue construction.
