This Ipe Cutting Board Kicked My Butt
I came across this pallet that was made from ipe. Crazy right? The guy I got it from thinks it came from a foreign country. Anyway after I planed it down and cut it into strips it reveals a lot of different color and grain variations so i thought it would look great as an end grain board. What a mistake! The end grain was so challenging that it made carving a juice groove a total disaster. Let me know what you think!
