Open Cluster Management is a CNCF project focused on multi-cluster and multi-cloud scenarios for Kubernetes apps. Today there is no unified method to manage multiple clusters across clouds. OCM aims to address this issue by providing a framework that includes built-in API primitives that facilitate cluster inventory management, cluster workload placement, and cluster workload distribution. By utilizing these APIs, OCM enables a comprehensive understanding of cluster resources, efficient placement of workloads, and effective distribution of workloads across clusters.
In this webinar, we are going to cover the following topics
What is OCM? Learn OCM’s Hub-Spoke model.
Manage 3 cluster using OCM
Deploy KubeDB operators across these clusters
Create custom cluster sets and deploy databases in each of them
Discuss OCM vs GitOps
