📝 Facts about lions
The lion is Africa's largest predator. Its a social creature, living in prides of five to 25 animals. Lions commonly hunt at night and their favored prey are wildebeest and impala. Most of the hunting is done by females, but males often feed first after a kill.
When not feeding or fighting, lions are remarkably lazy. They spend up to 23 hours a day resting.
