TAKE THE HIGH ROAD - Uncle Sam meets Mary Jane (the first vet cannabis event at a VFW post)
The film that wasn't meant to be a film - In January 2022, MGTV Cofounder & resident cannabis adventurer accepted an invitation to attend the first veteran cannabis education event taking place on a post of the second largest veteran group - the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) - the only catch? It was in Phoenix, Arizona. Some 800+ miles away.
Originally shot as an episode of his Veteran series VETSGROW too, but which sat unedited for 6 months because he over-shot for it's budget, "Uncle Sam meets Mary Jane" came from the re-discovery of test footage shot on the trip using a vlogging camera that allowed the trip to be edited as a "Take the high road story" - the first upbeat vet film.
