[STORY BELOW]
HUZZAH, One of the beasts is done!
Hello again, I'm rather active aren't I? Lets not question it.
I've been working on two particular Chains videos for a little while, the other one will still be a while before its done but I finally finished this one!
Whoo boy tho theres a bit to unpack here. You may have an inkling of the situation if you've been following my other Chains videos (Chains being one of mine and Lightnings stories we write and I make content for on here)
But if not, there will be a playlist link to the other Chains focused stuff below, and I'll explain this one a bit further right now.
[Story details]
Suna, the one lying on the ground, was separated from her Father Dara, and Sister Kitsune, when she was an infant as her mother was forced to leave and chose to go live among the desert wolves in their city instead.
Suna's mother, Hana, had a close friend she chose to go live with, Kazuo (the spiky brown cheeky fellow). Who took over as the fatherly role in Sunas life, especially so after Hana passed away. Kazuo adopted her and raised her as his own. Growing a high level of distaste toward Dara for not stepping up to do so himself. But he adored Suna and did his best to raise her among his other two children.
Later on, after the truth comes out and Suna is reunited with her sister and father. The process is incredibly awkward and difficult to navigate. Suna wants to get close to her blood family, she wants to make that effort, but her sister struggles to open up to her, and visa versa, and the resentment of her father forcing her mother away, makes it difficult to trust him and feel safe with him. But she can tell Dara is trying his best to make up for lost time, as the reason for why he split them up was not entirely within his control.
Suna is also incredibly aware by this point that Dara and Kazuo do not like each other whatsoever. And she doesn't know how to approach that issue, because she wants to be loyal to the one who raised her, but she feels its important that she at least attempt to become close to her biological father as well.
This particular scene starts off after Suna and Kitsune had been through a lot of events together, they have made quite a few enemies in the last several months they've been reunited. One day, they get ambushed by an enemy from another nation, and Suna ends up on the ground, fading in and out of consciousness from her wounds, while Kitsune ends up in a rage over Suna's state and confronts the attacker head on.
As Suna is dealing with the pain and dizziness thats inflicted onto her, she has a few thoughts, wondering how her two parental figures might react once they hear about this, if Suna perishes right here, what would they even say? Would they be able to look past their differences and show accountability. Or would they simply blame the other for what happened, and be too focused on their hate for each other to even pay it much attention at all.
Thing is, it is in fact just her imagination making her see all of this, and once she opens her eyes again, she realizes that Dara is right there, trying to make sure shes okay before handling the wreckage and chaos in the background. She then realizes what a dumb thought it was to think either of them would behave in such a way. For if Kazuo knew about this, he would rush to help her just as quickly. Regardless, Suna finds herself relieved at Dara's presence, and breaks down into tears, just glad he's here to help them.
(side note- Kazuo is Kuro's father, hence the familiar brown coloring)
