The Pete post

Okay, imagine you're playing a game where you have a special rule that says you can do something at a certain time. Now, let’s say Pete is playing, and there’s a rule that you have to remember to do something before you make your move.
Pete's question was about whether it’s enough to just tell your friend that they forgot to do that special thing when they try to make a move, or if you need to do something else.
The answer is: Yes, if you remind your friend about the special rule before they make their move, it’s like you’re saying, “Hey, don’t forget to do that thing!” and that’s good enough to show you didn’t forget about it.
