We use ‘still’ to explain that something has not changed and is continuing, it hasn’t stopped or changed. We use ‘not + verb + anymore’ or ‘not + verb + any longer’ to explain that something has changed and is not continuing, it has stopped or changed. We also use ‘no + longer’ to explain that something has stopped or changed. We often use ‘still’ and ‘not….anymore’ to compare two things in the same situation, one continues while one has stopped.
