FFXIV E9S Intercardinal Seeds (Mr. Happy/Hot Pocket strat)
1. Drop puddles at the corners of your intercardinal marker. Don't cover the marker itself, or you will have very little space to do 2nd Act of Darkness. It's not necessary to use anti-KB, but using it allows much more precise positioning.
2. Once puddles appear, gather at the safe spot to bait the vines.
The safe spot is perpendicular to the purple tethers that the boss shoots out. (In this example, the boss tethers to E and W. So, the safe spots are N and S.)
Tanks and healers gather at the N or W safe spot.
DPS gather at the S or E safe spot.
You must bait the tethers quickly or puddles will lock on to the wrong player! Players must prepare to identify the safe spot the instant puddles are dropped.
3. Run through the boss to the opposite side to break your vines.
4. Safe spot is just barely within max melee range of the boss
5. Prepare for wide-angle/anti-air unlimited phaser
