Follow us as we take you through a demonstration integrating Pentaho with Hadoop without writing a single line of code. For example, a user may wish to analyze call volume, an example that may be relevant to a telecommunications company.
With the pre-existing data, we can use Pentaho’s Data Integration (PDI) to walk through our call volume analysis transformation which starts with an input step that can extract details from the existing information such as the area code to create additional fields of data. In addition, it’s possible to process the data at scale on a Hadoop cluster using PDI’s easy drag-and-drop transformations making the analysis efficient and accessible.
