What temperature should the water be for yerba mate?
What’s the correct water temperature for enjoying yerba mate? 🧉
First it should never be boiling. 🥵
Most people will say not even above 180F (82C)
I often hear people say 160-180F
I personally think that’s too hot and I don’t enjoy it. However to each their own. One thing is for sure that the hotter the water it will be more bitter and can often not last as long.
