Starship is a fully reusable launch vehicle in development by SpaceX, an American aerospace company, to fulfill the ultimate purpose of Mars exploration. The launch vehicle consists of a Super Heavy booster stage and a Starship spacecraft, the latter of which also serves as the vehicle's second stage. Both are powered by Raptor rocket engines which burn liquid oxygen and liquid methane as propellants. Upon its debut, Starship will be the largest and most powerful rocket ever constructed.
