How a Sleep-paralysis Cave Demon Started Islam
This is the origin story of Islam: Once upon a time, Muhammad wandered into a cave looking for a spiritual experience. When he fell asleep, he found one in the form a a demon he would later name Jibreel. He ran from the cave screaming about being demon possessed and tried to commit suicide. "Fortunately," his wife, seeing the possibility of a big pay day, convinced him he was actually a prophet and Islam was born. Mary Harb joins us live to recall the fantastical tale.
