What Is Vulnerability Analysis and Mapping (VAM)?
WFPs VAM is an internal informational tool that offers decision-makers temporary and long-term technical assistance in food security analysis. It aims to monitor the food security situation and provide information and analytical support to inform decision-making along key points of the program cycle. It is comprised of three pillars: food security analysis, assessments and monitoring; programming of WFP activities; and mapping (geographical information systems).
