Not So Bad CK2 Achievement
This achievement took me 30 attempts to get or 3 hours irl.
Start: Edward III 1337 - Plague begins 1345 and reaches England by 1348.
Patch: Latest Patch
DLCs: Only Reaper's Due
Major settings: Supernatural and Absurd On. Epidemics: Historical. Gender Equality: All.
I followed the recommended procedures from the wiki. I had 0 councilors, not married, not in hiding, no hospital, no ambitions, no court physician, and led an army. In the end from what I've read on forums to have the events pop up you just need to be a capable independent ruler, have the black plague in your domain, have reaper's due, and have supernatural and absurd settings on.
