Today was a snowfall warning in Brampton, Canada.
I came back from work and decided to go and get French Vanilla from Tim Hortons.
Yesterday was Boxing Day which means extra pay.
So I got a shift on Times and a half which is equal to getting paid at $22/hour for the same work which I do on a regular day for $14.50/hour.
Also, this new year, Ontario is increasing its minimum wage rate to $15 per hour which is actually a good news for new international students. Part time jobs in Canada is essential for Students to earn and manage their expenses in Canada.
I have successfully finished my 5th semester of BBA in Canada. Currently, I have semester break. Yes, international students can work full time without any limit on hours during scheduled breaks like semester break, study week, official drops etc.
Next semester is going to be online for the first month, however I think that due to the regularly increasing cases of Covid 19 in Canada, they are going to make the entire next semester online.
Let’s wait and hope for the best as restrictions make it really difficult for new students for whom it becomes hard to enter Canada.
