Eldra Jackson III – Co-Executive Director of Inside Circle – brought raw truth and lived experience to the stage at Responsive Conference 2025.
After spending 24 years in prison, Eldra began the hard work of healing from within. Today, he works with young men, justice-impacted communities, and organizational leaders to create space for growth, accountability, and deeper human connection. His session will explore how real change begins when we unlearn old patterns, embrace vulnerability, and reconnect with our values.
Through powerful storytelling and deep reflection, Eldra showed that transformation is a daily practice, and it’s possible no matter where you start. This talk will challenge assumptions about masculinity, leadership, and what it really takes to break free from cycles of harm.
Eldra speaks to the heart of what many leaders face but rarely name: the need to lead from a place of honesty, not control. He’ll share lessons from his own journey, how community saved him, how self-awareness became his compass, and why second chances are more than a policy.
