Intricate Work Of Art VS Look-Like Prototype - What's the Difference?
Renaud recently visited Japan in early 2024 and visited an exhibition. The artist made extremely small but realistic little homes (you can compare with the size of the electric plug).
There's an interesting parallel between the effort it takes to make such an intricate exhibit and a look-like prototype.
When we have to prepare a look-like prototype for clients, it is often basically a kind of work of art, and if the prototypes need to be very nice it can take 10 times more hours as well as far more material to get the prototype to where it needs to be (since there is a trial & error process and we have to discard a lot of bad pieces).
