So much performance, so little cost: The Thermalright Assassin X 120 R SE CPU Cooler
Heat is the killer of PC components, and overly hot components don’t perform to the best of their abilities. It’s a sad fact, but the stock coolers from AMD and Intel included with the lower end CPUs tend to be poor performers when it comes to heat dissipation and they’re usually loud as well. When you’re a budget builder, it’s easy to forgo getting a new CPU cooler if one is included with your processor, and it’s also a component you can easily upgrade in the future.
