Let's learn the 3 types of coordinate systems in JavaScript. The screen coordinates (screenX, screenY) measure the position from the top left corner of the screen. The Window coordinates (clientX, clientY) measure the position from the top left corner of the browser window. The document coordinates (pageX, pageY) measure the position from the top left corner of the HTML document.

The getBoundingClientRect function gives us the coordinate information of a DOM element surrounded by a rectangle. The elementFromPoint function gives us the topmost DOM element at given window coordinates.

4:18 - Screen coordinates (screenX, screenY)
6:09 - Window coordinates (clientX, clientY)
8:06 - Document coordinates (pageX, pageY)
9:51 - getBoundingClientRect function
15:24 - elementFromPoint function
