Did I Just Waste $400 Bucks On This Miter Saw?
I’m so tired of dragging my 12” DeWalt miter saw and stand combo out from behind my car every time I need to make a simple cut. It’s heavy, awkward, and turns a 2-minute job into a whole production.
I was at Lowe’s grabbing some window trim and saw a deal on a 7” battery-powered miter saw plus a free 5Ah battery. I’m a sucker for a free battery, so I bought it.
Now I’m trying to figure out if this 7” can actually replace the 12” I’ve been using for the last decade or if I just made a mistake and now I’ve got two of the same tool taking up space. In this video I run both through how I actually use them day to day, not lab tests, just real cuts, and my opinion changed pretty fast.
Also curious what you guys are using for stands.
