Winterizing Your Gas Grill
Grill Girl explains what to do with your barbecue gas grill before you put it away for a season of non-grilling. Even if you don't ever fully put your gas grill away, the change of weather from warm to cold is a good time to inspect and clean the elements of your grill including the cooking grids, heat plates, briquettes, carry-over tubes, ignition system and burners.
Clean out any grease or debris in the bottom of your grill and replace all elements. Then, be sure to cover your grill with a high quality grill cover. If you move it into a closed area, make sure the propane tank is stored safely (not anywhere close to the heater of your home).
