Brooklyn born director Erv GP creates first black superhero from Brooklyn based on voodoo folklore. G-Redemption, A self-funded new web series that explores crime in big cities and choices people make in dire situations. G-Redemption is an action-drama series full of plot twists and original characters that will have you coming back for more.
The cast consists of up-and-coming actors and artists who have turned away from street life for a new beginning like the characters in the series. G-Redemption Web Series was shot throughout the NYC boroughs, mainly in Brooklyn. The story follows two former gang members, James & Malcolm, who return to their neighborhood to fix the streets they once destroyed.
Sean James is recently released convict who served 6 years in prison. While in prison, he became a Pastor and decided his mission was to save as many souls as possible by starting his own church. Upon release from prison, Sean volunteers at the local church. He tries to lead a new life but old demons from his past life pull him back into a world of chaos.
Malcolm, Sean’s cousin, also returns to his old neighborhood and he’s changed his criminal ways too. He wears a mask and haunts the night as Brooklyn’s local vigilante. His persona as the Voodoo Man sends fear into the hearts’ of criminals. At night he fights against gangs, drug dealers and murderers to make the streets safe.
