BigDumbNerd tries Sandra Lee's Kwanzaa Cake
Yesterday was my birthday, so BigDumbNerd and his fiance decorated my kitchen as inspired by The Room (thus the footballs, framed spoons, and best friends forever napkin rings) and made me Sandra Lee's Kwanzaa cake.
They couldn't find regular angelfood, so they took a strawberry one. And it was HIGHLY disgusting. they also gave me one of Aunt Sandy's Semi-homemade recipe books as a gift.
The real irony in this is that our family owns a bakery and I'm in culinary school for baking arts, and all three of us CONTINUED EATING our slices after the first bite.
