RetroVision - Happy Hour [House]
Hey guys! Friday here!
You know what happens when you're out of ideas? To begin, you start making stuff without any sense. You decide to splash your project with ideas until you get something you're confortable with. Well, for me it's actually a bit more complicated than that. When I'm out of ideas I usually end up stopping what I'm doing and go do something else. I do not recommend anyone to follow my steps, since I think that leaving things half done is worse than not begining it. I mean yeah, you have to give everything a try because you never know what might come out of it, but unless that thing becomes really worth it, you end up frustrated and unable to continue. Did this happen to me today? Almost!
Today's video is courtesy of Retrovsion, an awesome artist that really got some spotlight with this song! I started listening to it about a month ago, but I never actually asked RetroVision if I could promote him. Maybe because I thought that it wasn't going to happen or maybe because I didn't have any idea on what to do with a song like this. Well, I finally asked him and he said yes! And this is what came out of it! I hope you like it RetroVision and thanks for letting me use the song!
Okay, here comes the main problem. See, when I chose a song, the difficult part is finding a good background. Unfortunately my drawing skills are as good as a four-year-old and I can't even imagine how to make a good background. Luckily my editing skills aren't as bad and I can more or less make something out of it. I have been working on this video since Monday, and I've used 3 backgrounds already. None of them spoke to me at all. They all seemed "easy to make" or "not original enough" and that's something I try to avoid. So today I finally found the right background, but it was as dull as a sheet of paper. After some time I managed to make this. What do you guys think? Leave it in the comments!
