Coveya manufacture the EK range of belt Conveyor systems that are very well suited to handling high volumes of clay, quickly and cleanly during the different stages of the brick manufacturing process.
The clay used is excavated from a quarry and although screened beforehand, it frequently contains stones and rocks which means a mixture of challenging materials, both moist and dry can end up on the Conveyors.
The EK Conveyor range features a 20 degree troughed belt that ensures that material is kept in the centre of the Conveyor, away from the belt edges.
Side Guides and covers can be fitted which allow the skirting to cover the belt edges and also prevent access to the fast moving belt.
Closed section frames are used that prevent access to any wear parts whilst the equipment is running and stop material from entering inside the Conveyor.
Self-Adjusting Scraper blades are fitted to all clay handling Conveyors to ensure that the material is scraped from the belt and ensure material carry back is eliminated.
