// Eye-Friendly Working with R and R Studio //
If you work with R and R Studio frequently and for extended periods, the bright background will eventually become a nuisance to your eyes. The brightness causes your eyes to tire more quickly and dry out more often. A simple trick to avoid this is to use an eye-friendly theme in R Studio. I particularly recommend themes with a dark background and slightly stronger color contrast for the special commands. I personally find Merbivore and Merbivore Soft very appealing.
I'll also show you how to change the font and font size. If you have a monitor with a very high resolution, the zoom function might also help. This enlarges your entire R Studio window.
