Which ruler stop is the best? And do you already know it?
We're comparing three different types of ruler stops. Find out which one is right for you.
With this little helper, any ruler becomes a marking gauge, allowing you to mark measurements with repeatable accuracy.
The first version deals with the side clamping of the ruler.
In the second version, we'll look at direct fixation with a screw, using a metal screw and a plastic screw.
For the last version, I was inspired by another canal and modified it slightly. The advantage of this ruler stop is that you can mark two different measurements and, with a little trick, you can even use it to measure internal dimensions.
