My goodness, I haven't expected such a massive feedback and I'm all feels! Sherlock fandom, you are incredible!
This simple AU-long-time-after-Reichenbach story was the way of cheering myself up. In my opinion, Sherlock would take his time not only to be sure that Moriarty's spies are out of the way, but also because John will need a heck of a long time to adjust to the fact that his friend is alive. So before returning Sherlock prepares John.
