Rescuing A 10-year-old Senior Tabby
When we first saw Tartan, he was dumpster diving. Then we would notice him roaming the neighborhood nightly, undaunted by traffic or people. He accepted pets and was generally a sweet boy, but he seemed to be in pain. We knew he deserved better.
After we we rescued Tartan, bloodwork revealed that he was FeLV+, which can predispose cats to periodontal disease and gingivitis. This is why he was in such pain outside. Thanks to you, Tartan will get all the medical attention he needs in order to set him up for the VIP life and let him live comfortably.
