Rescuing a fluffy kitten from the trash
We found this fluffy kitten living on the street, scrounging in the garbage. Kittens at this age are expected to fend for themselves, which means mom is no help. She was almost out of the socialization window, so we had to act fast if she was going to have a good life indoors. Eventually, rescue volunteers were able to lure her into a carrier with food, and we spayed mom and several other cats on this block to end the cycle. After being assessed by our medical team, this kitten will get ready for a foster home.
