Lectrosonics UM200b transmitter repair
I have an Lectrosonics UM200b wireless microphone tranmitter that had very limited range, as in it started dropping out with just a few feet from the reciever.
After checking with lectrosonics, It wasn't going to be financially feasible to go ahead with the repair through their repairer.
I did a bit of research, and decided to take a shot in the dark of repairing the transmitter.
the transmitter seemed to be working, sort of, and I deducted that it was the final rf stage of the transmitter that wasn't working properly.
The key component of this is a single smd mosfet.
after figuring out what I needed, I found one online, on ebay, so I ordered it, and waited.
The repair was quick and straighforward. I was really happy how it went.
