Today we are looking at the Virus Swift shorts.
I’m a big fan of Virus shorts in general and these new Swift shorts are super cool! So lets go through their features and the things I like about them real quick!
They are made out of super stretchy material that never restricts my movements no matter what I’m doing
They have three pockets so that makes them great for wearing everyday and not just to the gym. A lot of workout short have one or maybe no pockets which is fine once coach says 3.2.1.GO but where am I supposed to put my wallet, keys, phone, something something and pizza before and after the WOD?
They have articulated leg shape to keep them from being super tight around your legs if you have some absolutely giant legs like me… and a 6.5 inseam so just a little bit on the shorter side
There is this super soft draw string on them that I really love. So soft and pleasant and doesn’t come untied.
They are a very comfortable and versatile fit no matter what activity you’re doing in them! Running, biking, hiking, climbing, chilling, working, walking.
They’re quick drying! I sweat a ton when I work out so sometimes when I finish a workout I’ll be soaked and these dry super fast to keep me from looking like I peed my pants when I stop at the grocery store on my way home from the gym.
What really sets Virus products apart from other brands is their very purposeful details: The way the string opening at waist is designed, the lettering on draw strings that both looks cool and keeps them from coming untied and the string being sewn in the back so it can’t pull through.
Last thing is the wide waistband that feels great when you’re wearing them. Unlike some shorts that are held up with a string or velcro or give you about half an inch of sizing adjustment, these have plenty of stretch and they added security of the soft string (that I love) to keep them feeling good on you all day long! Or maybe even multiple days. I’m not going to put a limit on how you live your life!
In Summary: The Virus Swift shorts are a great pair of light shorts for any activity that look super cool but more importantly preform amazing and have everything a good pair of training shorts need.
