Dear Diary, Its me Rosie📖🎀
I have done so much reflecting over the past 6 months on why I was feeling resistance on coming back to YouTube. The move from our home happened very quickly, and it was such a tough decision to make.. but now looking back it was the absolute right decision. Even though we were grieving the loss at the time, we have so many goals and dreams we want to pursue that is requiring a different lifestyle and sacrifices.
There was also huge transitions in our dance business happening at the same time. We are full online content creators now with our business and have the opportunity to travel all over the world and teach dance. We could have never dreamed posting that first video on YouTube would lead to this. With being full time content creators, we have the opportunity to live anywhere we want now! We wanted to take the next year to explore and show our kids the world and see where we want to live next. My mom moving from this house at the same time we were moving is no doubt gods timing, because we didn't have to worry about signing papers or leases and could just move when the time is right.
As you can probably guess, The Holidays are what I live for! It feels like when Mariah Carey defrosts at Christmas time, I get such a burst of extra energy and will stay up until 2 am to finish a video. I can also very easily get stuck in my head when it comes to content because it almost feels like as a content creator, YouTube values focusing on one thing and fitting into a neat little box and having a "niche" ... but I am passionate about so many things!!
I’m noticing that to be able to stay consistent on here and also chase my other goals and dreams, ive got to let that go and share what I'm inspired by and what's helping me in the season of life I'm in. I want to show up in a way that feels true to me and my creativity and my why.
Routines,living a healthy lifestyle, makeup, girlyness, mom life, dance, fashion, and of course decorating (lets get real;) We are all uniquely and wonderfully made and aren't called to look like everyone else, or do things the way everyone else does. It's easy to get distracted on our why sometimes because the noise of the world, looking at others success, and social media can be so loud. Here's a little example, I started this channel to share how my morning routine has changed my life and helped me chase my dreams.. and how shifting my daily habits has rocked my world. Have I posted one of those videos? Not one! The Irony is that when the pendulum swings so far during the holiday decorating palooza, my habits fall off then I'm playing catch up in those areas come January.. and I become burnt out! Now that's the tea! take a sip...
So I'm excited to get back to my why, Of course the next few videos will be decorating because.. duh.. and I will always share because the holidays are my life force, but im coming to terms with this will be more of a lifestyle channel. Forever an escape someone can come to.. to hopefully feel better and encouraged and know they are gonna get a daily dose of girly creativity and motivation!
