A Ride up to the Cranbrook VOR Tower
This was a fun ride in early October 2022 on my 2017 Yamaha Super Tenere.
The Cranbrook VOR tower (Lat/Long: 49-33-17.949N / 116-05-15.730W) is a radar antenna used to monitor air traffic for airports. This one is situated at 7585 feet above sea level, which makes it about 4600 feet higher in elevation than Cranbrook (YXC) Canadian Rockies International Airport.
