Brazilian Inspired Music - Tour pela Praia do Espelho (Featuring Albe)
I collaborated with Albe, an amazing Argentinian composer, for a Newgrounds race music competition. This is our theme for the tropical round. We thought other teams might go with the hang drums and steel pans approach, so to be different, Albe got the fantastic idea to take inspiration from Brazilian music :D
We envisioned a somewhat dreamy scene of a tour around a beach in Brazil, Praia do Espelho, including a section where you go through an underwater tunnel, where you get a beautiful view of the coral reefs, tropical fish, and the vibrant underwater landscape, as the music gets quieter and more relaxing. After the tunnel, you head into the bustling city center, taking in the culture and quaint charm.
