How I Made My Job Awesome
And now...the rest of the story.
Even though my job didn't start out swimmingly, and it was a bit of a process to figure out exactly what I liked to do, I eventually molded my job into something I really love. I have fun. I make my own schedule. I can be myself and get as weird as I want to without any restraints of a "professional" job. I wear pjs to work. I deal with very limited nonsense. I don't have to commute in rush hour traffic. I can very easily go back to school and study something I enjoy. I can take a vacation whenever I want to. I make people happy on a regular basis.
So yes, it sucked being in an abusive relationship, and there are definitely aspects of this job that suck as well. But at the end of the day, my job is awesome and I am not doing anything worth being ashamed of. I make pornographic videos and I think it's pretty cool.
