My Journey: 2016-2018

It's a new year!!!!! I wanted to look back on everything I accomplished in 2017, but my journey really started back in 2016, so let's start there instead.
I have "behind the scenes" footage from a porn video I filmed back in January 2016. It should give you a good sense of what my life was like at that time. I thought things would get better after I got divorced, but I struggled with depression. In October of 2016, I started filming video diaries that I continued through 2017.
For the sake of time, I couldn't include everything; I also don't want to write an incredibly long description. Just know that it was bad. I could barely do anything. It would take me 45 minutes to empty the dishwasher. I was super lonely, but afraid of meeting new people. Everything was overwhelming. I am lucky to have had my dogs.
I struggled up until mid-May 2017. Then I started to have some wins. I traveled. I did well in school. I made friends. Things finally started to fall into place, and continued to improve from there.
If you are struggling, if you are depressed, if you are in a situation that you no longer want to be in, know that things can and will get better. It might take some time, and the road there might be difficult to travel down, but you will get there. Wishing you all the best for 2018!!
