100.000 dominoes – VEXX art project
In collaboration with Vexx we made a big project where the incredible doodle art is made out of dominoes. This is the first of two alternative projects we built in the summer of 2020. Due to the pandemic, we were forced to shift the original WDC2020 event to the summer of 2021. Nevertheless we put up a great team together to create this beautiful and colorful art.
The project features two giant iconic characters (Spongebob and Elmo), a small test of guessing 3 famous paintings and an exclusive combined doodle art field, all drawn by Vexx himself, which we then designed into domino fields. Along making this project, Vexx challenged us into various domino related tasks like the highest tower or the fastest builder.
