This project presents a vehicle tracking system using GPS-GSM technology that can be remotely monitored by a GSM phone. It is designed to track the position of a vehicle at any period of time. It comprises of a GPS receiver, a microcontroller and a GSM module. The combination of these technologies produces a tracking system. The GPS continuously takes input data from the satellite and stores the latitude and longitude values. This basically means that if a person has to track a vehicle, a message has to be sent to a GSM device, by which it gets activated
