"A Dead Rabbit" Full Play (5/7)
"A Dead Rabbit" was written and directed by Taylor Bradley, and produced by 48 Hours Theatre Inc. in November of 2014. It was put on at the Santa Monica Playhouse for a two week run.
"A Dead Rabbit" is a love story between a young boy (Benny) whose parents were murdered, and his sweetheart (Louise), for whom he kills a rabbit to express his affection. In the midst of the Great Depression, Benny and Louise run away together on a cargo train to escape their tragic pasts, running headfirst into adulthood, dodging bullets, crazy vagabonds, and trying desperately to survive.
